Okay, so yeah, Modern Warfare isn’t exactly able to escape the ever-expanding threat of hackers and cheaters. Or at least it hasn’t been. Infinity Ward plans to change that.
Robert Bowling responded to a question on Twitter about if there would be a banning system like in Black Ops to keep the game fair to everyone. Bowling was more than happy to oblige…
“Yes, we have full control to ban (perm + temp), remove from leaderboards (perm + temp), and adjust rank of players”.
So finally some admins can do some work around the Infinity Ward labs and get some people off the high ranks who don’t deserve the title. It’ll be nice to finally play some Call of Duty without 11-year-olds telling me how much better they are than me.
Fans can look forward to the game on November 8th.
