A few months ago, EA advertised that PS3 gamers who bought new copies of Battlefield 3 would get a code to download Battlefield 1943. By the time Battlefield 3 came out, no code was given. Before PS3 gamers had a chance to sue EA for false advertising, EA has now set up a website where you can get your copy of Battlefield 1943.
You can visit this website for vouchers that will allow you to download your free copy of Battlefield 1943. The vouchers will become available on the following dates: November 26th in Europe, December 10th in North America and December 17th in Japan. You will have to activate your PS3 online pass of Battlefield 3 first before you can redeem the download voucher for Battlefield 3.
