Now that this little fact is out of the way, Assassin’s Creed Revelations will be released on the 15th, but Ubisoft is wasting no time in continuing the story.
Oh, and misdirection alert, Assassin’s Creed Revelations was supposed to be Ezio Auditore’s last game, and they were right, this is his last game.
However, the recently revealed Assassin’s Creed Embers is not a game, but rather an animated movie.

Is this a cop-out on Ubisoft’s part for not giving the player closure on Ezio’s end, or an earnest attempt to bring even greater grandeur to the game’s storied history?
