Final Fantasy XIV was not received well at all. Considered a bigger blemish on the Final Fantasy franchise than even the number confusion regarding Final Fantasy III/VI, or even Tidus’ retarded laugh.
The PS3 port has been delayed an exceptionally long time, with the PC port having been released Standard Edition today last year. Has the PS3 port been canceled? Has it been entirely forgotten, lost to the desert that is the copy-pasted environments of Final Fantasy XIV?
Apparently not!
Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada had this to say…
“The PS3 is an exciting platform for the FINAL FANTASY franchise and we are exploring all avenues to realize FINAL FANTASY XIV for that system.”
Whatever you say Mr. Wada.
However, Final Fantasy XIV has been realized on PC already to scathing reviews. One can only pray that the Playstation 3 port can fix some of the inherit issues of the PC version. But no promises, with a vague and safe statement like that, right Yoichi?

October 1, 2011 at 9:29 AMwhat exactly is a retarded laugh? are you saying that people with special needs actually all laugh the exact same way? do you stereotype all people who are different? words hurt whether you think so or not. Ignorance is actually the greatest disability of all.
