A few new details have been shared about WWE ’12’s Road to Wrestlemania mode for this year. A lot of changes have been made that may be both good and bad for some WWE fans.
The details were posted exclusively on IGN. The “Road to Wrestlemania” mode is totally different from when it was last seen in WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2011.
The most obvious change is the length of the entire mode. No longer will you be playing inside a 3 month window on the WWE calendar. You will now be playing through an extensive 18 month window that will last you between 10 – 12 hours of gameplay.
A change that may deter some fans is that you can only get to be three WWE Superstars now as opposed to the five or six you could be before. You first start off being Sheamus and then you get to be Triple H after that. From there, you get to be your created superstar. This doesn’t sound too bad, but I would have liked to play as CM Punk and Rey Mysterio…
The other change is that the storyline is not separate. This is one huge storyline that you can get to play out as. The storyline is also unique specifically written for the WWE ’12 game itself.
That’s the changes that have been made to the “Road to Wrestlemania” mode. Do you like the changes that have been made?
