Famitsu has details of the prices of the games that will be hitting the PS Vita.
Uncharted: Golden Abyss will cost you ¥5,980 for the cartridge and ¥4,900 for the downloadable version. If you are to exchange this in American currency, this is $78 and $63 respectively.
Hot Shots Gold 6 is going to set you back ¥4,980 ($65) on retail and 3,900 ($51) for the retail version.
Ridge Racer for the PS Vita is the cheapest PS Vita title in Japan with a price of ¥3,980 for the cartridge version; the download version is priced at ¥3,580. This comes at $52 and $47 respectively.
Bear in mind, prices for video games in Japan are usually higher than those in the rest of the world. Also, the price comparisons are being made against a currently weak US dollar. It’s likely the prices for PS Vita games will be more affordable when they release in North America and Europe in early 2012.
It may be a good idea to wait for the local release of the PS Vita rather than importing one considering how expensive they are in Japan…
