Multiplayer in Mass Effect 3 has been a rumor that has first arisen since the game was announced. It has since been ruled out and then rumored to be back in only to be ruled out again. Now what seems as a never ending saga has happened again. A flier released by from South African retailer BT Games advertises a Collectors Edition of Mass Effect 3 that will include an “Online Multiplayer Pass”
There really is no indication of what this pass could be. It might just be for DLC like the Cerberus Network in Mass Effect 2. It could be full blown multiplayer, which would be awesome or maybe some type of Co-Op. We’ll just have to wait and see if it will be included. Mass Effect 3 launches on March 6, 2012 in the US and March 9 in the UK on PS3, 360 and PC.
