While recently DICE revealed Xbox 360 players would have to install a HD texture pack if they wanted to play Battlefield 3 in HD not standard definition, it seems the company is keen to get players to do the install.
Johan Andersson a developer at DICE tweeted “When playing #BF3 [Battlefield 3] on Xbox 360, please do install the HD pack for high-res textures & meshes, that’s how the game is meant to be played”.
While most players wouldn’t think twice about playing in HD over SD for those strangely undecided it seems DICE are urging everyone that can to install.
