Patrick Liu the producer on Battlefield 3 has recently publicized his views on the current difference between consoles and PCs.
While Liu was commenting on how some console players have felt disappointed about the difference in lobby sizes on the console in comparison to the PC he made a bold statement about how far behind consoles are. Liu commented that, “it’s really about the limitations we have on the hardware,” the “PC is five or six years ahead of consoles now, hardware wise. There’s an obvious difference.”
