While not fixing anything entirely broken, Warhammer 40K is getting its first patch in. THQ’s patch for the futuristic Warhammer universe addresses some of the complaints that the community have noted very quickly since the game came out on September 5th. This can still stand as a testament to developer Relic Entertainment, as many developers and publishers in the industry are content to release half-finished games and work on patches long afterward and near immediately.
The patch notes are as follows.
-Added mute all functionality and push to talk
-Fixed ‘butterfly’ exploit.
-Update matchmaking parameters to search for local matches longer.
-Fixed a crash when cancelling a search
-Fixed an issue where profile progress would not be saved properly if steam cloud was disabled.
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine is currently available for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
