The iOS platform is kind of a big deal right now, in case the rapturous commercial success of Angry Birds hadn’t already clued you in. However some detractors would have you believe that gaming on a smartphone isn’t really gaming in the proper sense of the word. If you’re one of those people or would just appreciate checking out a very sophisticated looking game then look no further than The Dark Meadow.
Set in an eerie abandoned hospital, The Dark Meadow is a game coming to Apple’s App Store this October. Developers Phosphor Games have promised a console level story, gesture controls and console-level production all running neatly on the popular Unreal Engine.
I’ve barely wetted my feet when it comes to gaming on my own iPhone but I’ll admit that The Dark Meadow has piqued my interest.
