Jens Bergensten has today mentioned two of the new features for Minecraft beta 1.9 that he is currently working on.
Unfortunately Jens didn’t reveal any particular details but did announce “I’ve been working on a new mob that will (nearly) force you to get better upgrades. If you want to fight it, that is”.
The new mob certainly sounds intriguing, but more so is the idea of upgrades. Hopefully it will mean that the experience points will finally have a use.
