As reported by Andriasang, a release date for Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be announced later this month at the Tokyo Games Show.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 director Motomu Toriyama made the announcement during a Q&A session this past weekend. At this time, only a vague December 2011 release window has been announced for the game in Japan. It’s expected the game will be released early 2012 in North America and Europe.
Development for the game is at 90%. According to Kiase, the game has been in development for just over one and a half years. It’s likely the game will be shipping on schedule and there won’t be any further delays for the game unlike with Final Fantasy versus XIII…
