Weekly Famitsu revealed today that Final Fantasy XIII-2 on the Xbox 360 will not have three discs just like its predecessor, but instead only one disc.
Since the XBox 360 version is only one disc, does that mean that the content of FFXIII-2 was cut down? According to Toriyama, FXIII-2 is as big as the first game when it comes to content. The reason the game was only one disc on the Xbox 360 was due to that there are less CG cutscenes. They minimized the cutscenes and just implemented an event scenes where everything is real time.
The one disc only for the Xbox 360 will benefit gamers as they don’t have to get up every 10-20 hours to switch to another disc. Yay for XBox 360 owners this time.
