Tecmo Koei made a blockbuster announcement that Dead or Alive 5 is heading onto the Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2012.
The announcement was made earlier today during the company’s press conference at the Tokyo Games Show. It’s worth noting the game is slated to release next year on both the Xbox 360 and PS3. Dead or Alive 4 came out as an Xbox 360 exclusive way back in 2006. Although the Dead or Alive: Dimensions came out this year, it was only for the 3DS.
This will be the first time a Sony console will get a direct entry Dead or Alive game since Dead or Alive 2 came out on the PS2 back in the year 2000. This is great news for fans of the franchise as it has been too long since Dead or Alive 4 came out.
