Even though we know that Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is releasing on the console aside from the PC, many console owners are hoping for a beta. Today, Valve revealed that the beta will not arrive on the consoles and will be exclusive on the PC.
In an interview of Strategy Informer with Valve’s Chet Faliszek, “It’s not really a good model for doing betas, real betas, on the console. Other console betas have been more promotional demos,”
When the beta of Global Offensive releases on the PC, players can expect to have a lengthy period to test it out. As for aspiring console owners looking forward to try the game out before it launches, the only way to play it on a console is through game events like PAX, Comic-Con, etc.
