Those of you that didn’t care for walking around 70% of Oblivion with broken armor will be happy to know that armor and weapons will no longer degrade in Skyrim. Pete Hines, VP of Bethesda Softworks Marketing, stated via Twitter that you will no longer need to maintain your weapons. This means that the repair skill and repair hammers were likely taken out of Skyrim and you will no longer have to work on that skill.
What do you think readers? Does this take too much realism away from the game? Or does this work better for you since you won’t have to worry about broken armor any more? Feel free to comment below and tell us what you think.
