The Rugby World Cup 2011 Facebook page has announced that the demo for the game is now available to download on Xbox LIVE.
On the demo for Rugby World Cup 2011 you will be able to play as either the 2003 World Cup winners England, or as the defending 2007 World Cup winners, South Africa. The teams will be competing in Auckland, New Zealand’s Eden Park.
It’s worth checking out and the size of the demo is only a mere 540.48 MB to download. The demo will be available for the PSN tomorrow.
The full game will have 20 nations competing for glory in Rugby’s greatest competition.
Unfortunately, New Zealand’s All Blacks and Australia’s Wallabies won’t be in the game as they’re licensed for Rugby Challenge instead. Those countries will only have fake names and squads instead…
Nevertheless, Rugby World Cup 2011 is scheduled for release August 26th for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The real Rugby World Cup kicks off September 9th, 2011.
