Rockstar Games has released Grand Theft Auto III on the Mac App Store earlier today.
Rockstar Games also plans to release Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas to the Mac App Store. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City will be releasing on August 25th with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas releasing on September 1st.
The Grand Theft Auto trilogy was released for the PC 7 years ago so it’s nice to see Mac users finally get a chance to play the iconic series. Grand Theft Auto III paved the way for the sandbox genre back in 2001 and the series has been a mega franchise ever since.
