For gamers who love Yakuza, the fifth game in the series is currently in development and should be released next year.
No further information were revealed as to what the fifth Yakuza will be all about. However, in addition to Yakuza 5, the sequel to Black Panther will also be released on the PSP. It is said that the sequel will retain the gameplay of the predecessor and will be presented at the Tokyo Game Show. Expect the Black Panther sequel to release on Spring 2012.
Expect more news to arrive later today.

August 30, 2011 at 9:51 PMThough I was a bit relieved when they said they were going to take a break, I’m still pretty excited. I’ve been putting off Yakuza 4 too long…just took it out the shrink wrap yesterday…started watching the refresher clips of Yakuza 1-3. So this news is icing on the cake in terms of motivation to finish it. Now I just wonder if the Black Panther sequel is actually going to be a PSP or a Vita game…hopefully we’ll find out tomorrow! I wish they would atleast localize Black Panther and Kenzan…I’m still a bit iffy on ‘Of the End.’
