Pre-order figures in Japan for Tales of Xillia are better than expected and have outpaced previous Tales titles.
The data compiled shows the first two weeks of data for Tales of Xillia and pre-order figures have already reached 80,000 units. Tales of Vesperia only started with under 50,000 units for a total of aorund 150,000 pre-order sales. Tales of Graces also had similar figures as Vesperia.
Namco Bandai projects that the final pre-order figure for Tales of Xillia could be over 250,000 units. There’s a chance Tales of Xillia will reach a final high figure since its an original Tales game being released for the PS3 and not a port like the other titles have been.
