Capcom have done it with Street Fighter II and IV and it appears as if a “Super” edition of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is coming as well.
A twitter user by the name of lupinko has tweeted that a Super Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is to be announced later this month at Comic-Con.
The user is not the only one hyping up a huge announcement at Comic-con as the official website Capcom has news to share at the event also.
Capcom Producer Ryota Niitsuma announced:
“Fighting fans! Come to this panel to hear the fantastic news about this legendary fighting game franchise straight from producer Ryota Niitsuma. Get an exclusive behind-the-scenes peek as well as a chance to come onstage to showcase your fighting skills against each other for fantastic prizes. Followed by a Q&A session.”
This could suggest that a “Super” Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is to be announced at Comic-Con or that some awesome DLC is coming it way. Whatever it is, all will be revealed at Comic-Con.
