The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was ported to the 3DS this year to much acclaim. There are now plans set in motion to get Majora’s Mask ported as well.
As reported on Joystiq, a group called Operation Moonfall is planning to put this in motion to makes this a reality.
Nintendo’s Eiji Aonuma said Nintendo would remaster the game if there was enough fans out there to support it from being made.
If you’re the many fans that are wanting to see Majora’s Mask ported to the 3DS. Contact Nintendo as many times as you can. You can email them at nintendo@noa.nintendo.com, ring on 800-255-3700 and sign a petition here.

July 29, 2011 at 1:22 AMI would buy it. I would also buy a completely brand new Zelda title for the 3DS, which probably won’t happen with the Wii U on the horizon. Zelda’s creator had already recently stated that he hasn’t even begun work on the Wii U Zelda title. This most likely means that if we are to see an original Zelda title on the 3DS it won’t be for at least a few years.

July 30, 2011 at 4:28 PMAs someone who has never played Majora’s Mask, I think this would be an excellent idea. As a kid, I never played the game, but always wanted to. For a while, I’ve been trying to get my hands on the game, whether it be the actual N64 cartridge or the Gamecube Collector’s Edition disc (no dice for either of those).
So bascially, this would give me (and many others) to actualy experience this game for the first time, and veterans to relive a classic experience.
I guess what I’m trying to say is, “Yes please, Nintendo!!!”
