EA has announced an all-new Burnout game called Burnout CRASH!. It will be unlike any other Burnout game released in history.
This is because it’s a download-only title and the camera is in birds-eye-view. The graphics look similar to that of the original Grand Theft Auto game
As the name of the game suggests, the game focuses heavily on crashing. It plays similarly to the Crash modes seen in previous games only that the developer (Criterion) has expanded on it fully. You can now compete with others online to see who can create the most destruction.
“Burnout CRASH! is a crazy mix of pinball and game shows,” said Richard Franke, Creative Director, Burnout CRASH! “We’ve evolved the core gameplay which everyone loved about Crash Mode, and expanded the whole experience using music, style and Autolog to create what we feel is the most mindless fun you can have on any gaming platform.”
Burnout CRASH! will make use of Xbox 360’s Kinect and is the first XBLA game to do so. The game will feature 3 game modes, 6 levels, and 18 total crash intersections.
Burnout CRASH! is coming on XBLA and PSN in Fall 2011.
