The development of Mega Man Legends 3 for the Nintendo 3DS gave a lot of fans excitement since it was announced several months ago. Today, Capcom revealed that the project that they’ve been working on is now officially canceled.
According to the company, Mega Man Legends 3 Project did not met the required criteria to go in full production. Since the company canceled the development process of the game, fans can stop hoping to play the previously announced Prototype version.
Below is a piece of the statement that Capcom revealed via their website.
“Unfortunately it was not felt that the Mega Man Legends 3 Project met the required criteria, and it is with regret that we must announce that the Mega Man Legends 3 Project has been cancelled, meaning that Capcom will not be releasing the Prototype or the full game.”
As a Nintendo 3DS owner, this news saddens me! Let’s hope that the game they won’t cancel next is Resident Evil: Revelation.
