EA has announced that it will be shutting down servers for several of its older titles.
EA usually shuts down online portion of games that are no longer played by people or they feel is outdated. EA said in a statement that these decisions are “never easy” but games get “replaced with newer titles” so it’s inevitable that their servers will be shutdown.
Some of the bigger games being shutdown are Army of Two for PS3 and Xbox 360, Battlefield 2: Modern Combat for Xbox 360, Need for Speed Most Wanted for PC and Xbox 360 and Skate for PS3 and Xbox 360.
