Surprise, Surprise. Another rumor regarding GTA V’s announcement has been reported and, this time, OXM claims to have the scoop.
Time’s up, says The Ball. Expect Grand Theft Auto V to be announced later this summer.
CVG also got a tip that the elusive entry would be taking place in a “real world Los Angeles location” and its satirical jokes will revolve around social networks, sub-prime mortgages, and other “modern-day talking points.”
With GTA V getting a new rumor every other month, it’s about time we heard something from Rockstar themselves. We’ve seen voice actor Tweets talk about the game (and get taken down just as quickly as they went up) and registered domain names that point toward GTA.
Let’s hope that we really are in the final stretch before the big reveal because, I think we speak for all of us, we’ve waited long enough to see how Rockstar is going to wow us this time.

July 10, 2011 at 10:23 PMHey man, we need a modern version of Los Angeles. LA Noire featured the old-style LA. Imagine the freeways, beaches, Hollywood, sports cars, etc that could flourish in an epic game, unlike LA Noire.
