Sometime in the near future, SOCOM Pro members will be receiving a new DLC for free that features new maps and weapons for SOCOM 4.
Assault Pack DLC is scheduled for release in the coming weeks and for the SOCOM Pro members, exciting new content awaits. The three new maps that fans can expect are heavily inspired by the campaign mode’s environments. The maps are scaled down to make it more suitable to an 8v8 match.
Assault Pack Maps:
“Red Line” – A monorail depot highlights this small and highly war-torn urban location.
“Double Cross” – A plane has crashed into a small mountain village, leaving wreckage and burning debris scattered throughout the area.
“Driftwood” – A small fishing village with a tight layout results in intense close-quarter battles.
Assault Pack Weapons:
M16 – This highly accurate Spec Ops weapon is great at range and, with a suppressor gained at Mod Level 2, can be used in stealthier situations as well.
AK-47 – This Insurgent weapon is difficult to control but inflicts a high amount of damage. It’s also capable of holding a large amount of ammo at Mod 5, making a very deadly option for aggressive players.
Expect the Assault Pack DLC to arrive on the PlayStation Network this month. For those who owns SOCOM 4 but not a member of the SOCOM Pro subscription, get it! The Assault Pack DLC is free for all SOCOM Pro members.
