Shigeru Miyamoto manager of Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development has today commented on how he thinks people will become accustomed to the WiiU’s controller.
While many have seen the controllers analog sticks on the WiiU’s controller as a step back Miyamoto explained they are “a more advanced state than the one we created for Nintendo 3DS”. Not many complaints have come about the 3DS’s sticks so maybe after all the WiiU’s controller will be ok.
Miyamoto did later add that the controller uses a completely new mechanism to that which Nintendo “used for the control stick on the Gamecube controller”.
