Sony has announced on its PlayStation blog that the PlayStation Store however it’s not running smoothly just yet.
Many people have logged onto the PlayStation Store but have encountered many errors while logging on for some reason. A lot of comments left over at NZGamer have shown many users are having trouble downloading stuff and coming up with lots of errors.
The reason for this could simply be that it’s overloaded since lots of people are logging into the system all at once. Not to mention Sony’s “Welcome Back” games aren’t live it either.
I myself have tried to log in but was left with the dreaded “Error 8071D36” screen while using my PSP. I manged to log in one time for a brief moment but was left with an error again when I tried to log in for a second time.
Hopefully Sony can fix these issues soon as there are a lot of people that would like to get some new DLC content…

June 2, 2011 at 5:35 AMyou can bypass the error, all you need is patience. at first i got it but as i continue over and over again i managed to open the shop. and though you still get the error inside the shop just continue closing the message, go back to the previous page(don’t leave shop) then go in again. repeat as many time as you need. i know is a bit annoying but only way to bypass it
