Square Enix and Deep Silver are happy to announce today that Square Enix will be region distributor of Dead Island in North America for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
According to Deep Silver, Square Enix’s impressive distribution and marketing capabilities, combined with their proven success with launching top-notch AAA titles, makes them the absolute best partner for Dead Island. Since Square Enix has previous experience in releasing a AAA title, Deep Silver seems confident that the company can do the job in pushing Dead Island into the market.
Dead Island for the consoles and PC is a survival first-person action where players will focus on melee combat, character development, deep customization of weapons and a lot more. The zombies in the game will be the enemies that players can expect. The only choice that players has in Dead Island is to survive and escape from the “Dead Island”.
Expect Dead Island to hit the stores later this year.
