Brink’s developer Splash Damage has recently spoke out about what they see as a monopoly on the gaming industry that only big games have.
Richard Ham from Splash Damage commented that “1% of the games make 99% of the profit, leaving everything else to wither on the vine”. Strong words but he didn’t end their saying “risk-taking will become rarer and rarer” and that it’ll “be bad for innovation.”
