Sony spoke to the Wall Street Journal claiming only a handful of people canceled their PSN accounts.
Sony Computer Entertainment boss Kaz Hirai said that only “”a very small percentage” of PlayStation help centres received calls from customers wanting to cancel their accounts altogether.
Hirai mentioned it was still too early to determine whether to find any conclusion of this result. Nevertheless this shows that many gamers retained their PSN accounts.
That or some may have traded in their consoles without even bothering canceling their accounts. Nevertheless, the PSN is up online to most parts of the world right now with a more secure network.
