While gamers has yet to receive a date as to when the PSN servers will be coming back online, a Sony based Tokyo representative stated that the service will be fully restored by the end of May.
In an interview of Bloomberg with Shigenori Yushida, the man stated that a complete reboot of the Sony’s online servers would be started by May 31st.
Since Yushida is mostly talking about the “full restoration” of the PSN service, a lot of gamers are still hoping that Sony will at least bring part of the service back that includes online multiplayer, chat functionality and friends lists before then. As we got a delay of the planned partial restoration last week, everyone is hoping that this week will be the time we’re waiting for.
With the release of Brink this week, it would be beneficial for Bethesda to have the PSN back online as the game is pure multiplayer only.
