Following the release of the 3.61 firmware on the PlayStation Network, SCE finally began the first phase of the restoration today.
The first part of the restoration is to allow gamers to log onto the network and play online multiplayer with friends. The launch of the PlayStation Store and other Qriocity will follow later this month. For gamers who haven’t gotten the update or able to sign on the network, please give at least several hours as the update rolls out to everyone.
The PlayStation.Blog posted an interactive map that tells the location of the states that already got the service back.
