Japanese gaming company Namco Bandai kindly donated €20,000 to the Canterbury Earthquake Heritage Building Fund.
As some of you may know, Christchurch was hit by a devastating earthquake on February 22nd earlier this year. The earthquake left more than 150 people dead.
The €20,000 that is NZD$36,255 will towards help rebuilding the city a lot. Christchurch was hit by another earthquake in September last year so any money will help the citizens of the city tremendously.
The huge cheque was presented earlier today in Auckland and was attended personally by members of Namco Bandai.
The gaming giant’s generosity will not go unnoticed I’m sure. It’s kind of them considering Japan itself suffered its own earthquake just weeks after the one in Christchurch.
Namco Bandai is responsible for famous gaming franchises such as Tekken, Ridge Racer and a whole lot more.
