Today, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe not only informed gamers that the release date is set in stone, but that there will also be two exclusive bundles released for the game.
We all know that inFAMOUS is well known for the moral dilemmas it presented as you either became a renowned savior of the people or powerful overlord of evil. Now players can show off their preference through the dualshock bundles that reflect the good and evil paths.
First we have the “good” bundle. For all those heroes who act selflessly and better society as a whole, this is the obvious choice for you. Along with your copy of inFAMOUS 2 you’ll receive a limited edition cosmic blue DualShock 3 controller.
Next up, there’s the “evil” bundle. If you’re all about death, destruction, and personal glory, then check out this bundle. Included with the game is another limited edition DualShock 3 controller, but this one comes in the limited edition crimson red color.
For those out there who have decided that inFAMOUS is a reason to grab a PS3 be sure to look out for the system bundle which contains a 320GB PS3, inFAMOUS 2 (of course), and a black DualShock 3 controller. The only downside here is that you forfeit the flashy, new controller colors.
At this time, it is unknown whether or not these special bundles will make it to the US. Either way, regardless of your region, ALL inFAMOUS 2 copies will contain an Uncharted 3 beta access code. So that’s something I’m sure we can all get behind.
