You can tell a PC release is getting close when the developers send out the system specifications. In the case of Duke Nukem Forever, it’s been a long time coming. Gearbox Software has released the full specs today, to let fans know if their machines will be able to handle the Duke.
The specs aren’t to intense, but it won’t run on the machine you bought for the game back in 1998. To run the game with great performance, a dual core processor is recommended. You will also need at least 2 GB of RAM, and an ATI Radeon HD 3850 or equivalent. The full specs are listed below.
