Electronic Arts has commented that it will go head-to-head with Call of Duty later this year and that its game will be better.
EA has announced that pre-orders for Battlefield 3 are currently 700% more than that of Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Both Battlefield 3 and Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will fight for the FPS crown when both games are released later this year.
EA is confident that it will win the battle claiming Battlefield 3 is “superior”
Here’s President of EA’s Frank Gibeau commenting about Battlefield 3:
“We know we have a big competitor, but head-to-head with Call of Duty in Q3, we have the superior game engine, a superior development studio, and a flat-out superior game. Our goal is to significantly gain share in the huge FPS category and to put the other team on defence.”
