City Interactive announced today that Sniper: Ghost Warrior for the Playstation 3 is set for a June 28th release date.
The game saw release last year on the PC and the XBOX 360 where it sold a combined total of over 1 million units.
Now the game is finally set for release on the PS3 with all the updates that it’s predecessor got plus a good deal of extras exclusive to the Playstation 3.
The new exclusive features are:
– Fully upgraded game play and graphics;
– Exclusive single player missions for PS3 owners;
– Bonus multiplayer maps;
– Exclusive new multiplayer modes, including Capture the Flag and Hard Core difficulty mode;
– Exclusive new sniper rifles including the L96 and the M200 Intervention;
– Bonus single-player challenge includes additional mission with Hard Core mode to challenge the very best players.
This seems to be a pretty decent helping of exclusive content that PS3 owners will get for picking up the game in June. What do you think, readers? Is this newer version worth picking up? Feel free to comment below.

April 28, 2011 at 1:47 AMThat is a breach of international CC rules (although not actual laws, just common sense really and Sony F*** up on this one). Somebody figured out how to blast them on it via the dev network but they *realized* they had to rethink their entire network as a result http://bit.ly/kD2J5x
