Sony Computer Entertainment America is pleased to reveal today that the PlayStation 3 reached another milestone today as they sold 50 million units worldwide.
As of March 29, 2011, the PlayStation 3 have sold 50 million units while the newly released PlayStation Move peripheral surpassed an 8 million units worldwide as of April 3. These figures are a great momentum on the PS3 platform. Since the launch of the PlayStation 3 back in 2006, over 75 million PlayStation Network account has been created.
