Joshua Weier from Valve Software has today revealed that Portal 2 on the PlayStation 3 will not have a mandatory install.
In an interview with PlatStation Blog Weier revealed that “do not require users to install to the hard drive” but players will need a free “22 MB for saved games”. Plenty of games these days have the mandatory installs it’s nice to see the enjoyment of Portal 2 will be from as soon as the disk is in the console!
