It looks as if Sony will not be updating the PlayStation Network this Tuesday due to the PSN outage.
Sony has not put any of the “Drop” news that tell us what games will be on the PlayStation Store this week.
If true, this is for obvious reasons as the company is still rebuilding its network infrastructure. The process can take a while and not just “a couple of days” as initially thought.
Sony wants to add additional security to the system so it will avoid an incident like this ever again.

April 25, 2011 at 2:53 AMDo you realize that the article you are talking about doesn’t publish until later in the day on Mondays? Just because it hasn’t been posted yet, doesn’t mean it won’t get posted. Besides, the post always contains the games being released throughout the week, such as in retail and not just on the PlayStation Network. There’s at least one game releasing to retail this week that I know of. Therefore, there will be a “Drop” post, it just hasn’t been posted yet. Research before you make ridiculous claims.

April 25, 2011 at 1:43 PM@Captain Obvious: I don’t know about where you live but in NA that post is made every Sunday evening. I’m guessing you’re in the EU, so it’s probably different but that doesn’t make this post untrue. It just means that, just as Euros always tell Americans, the world consists of more than just where you live.
