As revealed by Notch yesterday the update for Minecraft is out today!
The new update brings in a load of new features including powered rails, birch saplings, a weather system and a statistics and achievements system. The stats range from how many times the player has jumped to minutes played, while the achievements range from ‘Getting Wood’ to ‘When Pigs Fly’.
