A ton of new Xbox LIVE Aracde games will be playable this weekend at PAX.
All the following games will be playable at PAX East in the Microsoft booth (#850). The games include Fire Pro Wrestling, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, Section 8: Prejudice, The Gunstringer, Toy Soldiers: Cold War and Trenched.
Here’s a brief run through on what each game has to offer:
Fire Pro Wrestling (SPIKE / Microsoft Game Studios): This is a game where you can make your Xbox avatar become a professional wrestler. You can perform special moves and participate in both singles and tag-team action. Go up against your friends or players around the world in this fun wrestling game.
Section 8®: Prejudice™ (TimeGate Studios / Microsoft Game Studios): This is a science fiction-based FPS game. The campaign mode is 5 hours worth of explosive gameplay with the option to fight others online in both co-op and versus modes. You will get to play with up to over 60 weapons all for just 1200 Microsoft Points.
Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet (Fuel Cell / Gagne International / Microsoft Game Studios): Artist, Michel Gagne helps create a unique gaming experience with this game. The game has gorgeous visuals and Hollywood quality presentation in this hybrid shooter/puzzle-solving game.
The Gunstringer (Twisted Pixel Games / Microsoft Game Studios): Is a Kinect exclusive game set in the Wild West. You control a marionette and will have to use both your puppeteering and quick draw shooting skills if you want to survive in this controller free environment.
Toy Soldiers: Cold War (Signal Studios / Microsoft Game Studios): ’80s era action figures come alive to wage war in this action game. Mixing both first-person and strategy you will have to fight your way past the enemy if you want to win. The game has lots of features including campaign, competitive, co-op modes and even mini games.
Trenched (Double Fine Productions / Microsoft Game Studios): Join The Mobile Trench Brigade and protect humanity from the evil Monovision menace in this Tower Defense Shooter from Tim Schafer’s Double Fine Productions. Use a combination of mobile firepower and stationary defenses to turn the tide of war in our favor.
