Minecraft has finally reached beta 1.4, which brings in a load of new features.
Notch, the man who started Minecraft, tweeted of the Minecraft beta 1.4’s release, as well as releasing details of the update. The update brings a massive range including a new animal but it doesn’t include the stats/achievements system.
The full list of the updates, taken from the Minecraft News Tumbrl, is below:
* Added tameable wolves
* Added cookies
* Sleeping in a bed now resets your spawn position
* New Minecraft logo
* Holding shift while climbing will hang on to the ladder
* Spiders will no longer trample crops
* Lots and lots of infrastructure for Statistics lists and Achievements
