With the “Cloud” Online storage coming later tonight in North America, do you know how to use the new feature?
As it was announced earlier today, the Cloud Online storage will allow gamers to back up and copy saves to the servers of the PlayStation Network at anytime, as long as you’re connected to the internet.
Today, we would like to guide you on how to use the Cloud saving feature in these following simple steps. Don’t forget that online storage is only available for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
To back-up:
1. Select [Game] > [Save Data Utility].
2. Focus on the save data you wish to back up.
3. Open up the option menu using “triangle” and select [Copy].
4. Select [Online Storage] as the destination of back up.
To copy:
1. Select [Game] > [Save Data Utility] > [Online Storage].
2. Focus on the save data you wish to copy.
3. Open up an option menu using “triangle” and select [Copy].

Sucks to be you. PS+ isn’t a rip-off in my opinion since I’ve already downloaded over 50 bucks worth of free and discounted games, avatars, and wallpapers. Now with the cloud storage, I’m really getting my money’s worth.
P.S. I paid for 12 months, but got 15 since I bought it when it first came out. (which makes the PS+ value even greater)

March 9, 2011 at 8:45 PMPS plus is a ripoff. Wallpapers, avatars …who cares about that stuff. You’re essetially paying for early access to demos. what a ripoff. This should be free.
Micro-transactions are ruining gaming. Sony is bad at it…just look at MLB the show. Pay extra to get more attributes, or to get more stats. Are you kidding me!?

March 9, 2011 at 11:42 PMPSN PLus also give me 1/2 price to the RDR DLCs. I wish it gave me 1/2 price to the fallout DLCs though!
I got to play the MK demo this week, you didn’t!
I got access to betas, you didn’t!
PSN is not a rip off you jakofasaurs, it’s available for people like us who think $50 is worth it, which it is.
I agree though that MLB 11 charging for shit like that is retarded!
P.S Can’t wait to try out this feature, I’m still sporting my 60 GB console (of course upgraded the drive) with the memory card readers… but the thing is so dusty and been played so much who knows when it’s gonna die on me! I better not lose my New Vegas save file, 80 hours+

PS+ gave the Fallout 3 DLC’s away for free a few months ago. I’m not sure what their intent is towards New Vegas but I have high hopes.

March 10, 2011 at 10:13 AMps plus is for fools and suckers. So is xbox live. Both services should be free instead of these mega-corporations trying to squeeze every last dime out of loyal gamers. Xbox really puts the hurt to customers as there is no online unless you pay for gold service. As an owner of both consoles I can easily say that if either of these companies choose to do a pay only online model next generation (if they both have a next gen console) count me out.. I will find another way to get my gaming fix.

March 10, 2011 at 10:37 AMat least when my playstation dies(hope not) i will be able to have all of my saved games files.
If for some guys PSN+ doesn’t worth the 50 don’t pay for it and don’t blame Sony.
The service it’s there and if you like it pay for it.
You do pay for so many other things and this one costs 4bucks per month and your are making such a noise about it

March 10, 2011 at 1:25 PMI have PS+ and think it’s a great the deal auto updating alone makes it almost worth it.
Does anyone know how to set a game to automatically save to the cloud?
I don’t want to have to keep going in and re-backing it up to the cloud everytime I’m done playing.
And how about a copy all feature instead of one at a time?
