Homefront sales in the UK haven’t been especially low but it seems a large proportion of the sales have been down to Xbox 360 players.
According to Chart-Track in the opening weekend’s sales for Homefront in the UK a massive 70% of the sales were on the Xbox 360. PlayStation 3 only made up 26% with PC at only 4% although the company didn’t follow digital download services like Steam. Even with such low percentages on PC and PS3 Homefront still managed to reach number one in the UK all formats chart.
Could this be to do with the recent release of the PlayStation 3 exclusive Killzone 3 or does the game cater more towards the Xbox 360s user base? Comment your opinion below.
