EA the other day banned a player from Dragon Age II for “bad language” but today EA has admitted they were in the wrong.
EA has commented that it was a “mistake” that the player was banned from Dragon Age II as his account was only supposed to be banned from the EA forum for calling EA a “devil”. For using this ‘bad language’ he found himself with a 72 hour ban which affected his whole account, which resulted in him not being able to play Dragon Age II even though it is an offline game.
Is it right that EA has this much power over players accounts? That even offline games can no longer be played when banned. Comment your opinion below.
