Thank god for the mandatory installation of Dragon Age II on the PS3, you won’t have to suffer much on the frame rate and screen tearing issues on the game. As for the Xbox 360, you might want to install the full game data onto the hard drive to experience fully optimized gameplay.
Comparing both versions of Dragon Age II on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the ability of reading the game through the disc on the Xbox 360 is somehow giving the game poor frame rate issues that can get annoying at times. If you have a plenty of space left on the Xbox 360 hard drive, you might want to install the full game’s data of Dragon Age II to minimize the frame rate and screen tearing issues of the game. It doesn’t completely eliminate the issues but it will give you a much smoother gameplay compared to when the game is running through the disc.
Dragon Age II is now available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Check out our review in a couple of hours! Stay tuned.

March 11, 2011 at 2:31 AMI think you have to check again!Because i own both version of the game end the PS3 version framerate is really garbage even wend compared to the 360 version running from the game disc!On the PS3 you get framerates has deep has 20 to 30FPS and the 360 version is most of the time stable at 30FPS i never saw it deep to 20FPS on the 360 like the PS3 version! The PS3 version on intense fight its almost unplayble!
